Verdict

On paper, the G3 X is a capable, lower-cost full-size auto CPAP with a heated humidifier, cellular data and a 5-year warranty. Its main limit is the 2,300 m altitude ceiling. If you live below that and want to save versus the AirSense 11, it’s worth asking your supplier about.

Frequently asked questions

Is the React Health G3 X an auto CPAP?
Yes. Its manual lists CPAP and AutoCPAP modes. It also has SmartC and SmartA, which can automatically adjust the treatment or starting pressure based on your breathing. Your clinician decides which mode is enabled.
How heavy is the G3 X?
The manual lists 1.7 kg (3.75 lb) and 265 x 145 x 114 mm (about 10.4 x 5.7 x 4.5 in), with a 360 mL humidifier water tank.
Does the G3 X use foam?
React Health's product page describes the G3 X as foam-free. That's a manufacturer claim; we haven't inspected a unit.
What's the G3 X warranty?
The manual gives 5 years for the main device and 3 months for accessories, counted from the date React Health sold it to the dealer, not from your purchase date.
Can the G3 X send data to my doctor?
The manual describes an SD card and a built-in cellular module (LTE Cat M1/NB1) for transferring therapy data, which matters for Medicare compliance reporting.
