Who should pick which
| You… | Better fit |
|---|---|
| Want the least on your face | P10 |
| Need pressure above 20 cmH2O | N30i/P30i |
| Move a lot or sleep on your side and want the tube out of the way | N30i/P30i (tube-up design) |
| Find pillows irritate your nostrils | N30i cradle cushion |
| Breathe through your mouth | Neither alone; see chin straps and mouth taping or a full-face mask |
Verdict
Both are well-documented ResMed nasal options with near-identical published sound. The P10 is cheaper and simpler. The N30i/P30i costs more but gives two cushion styles, a higher pressure ceiling and tubing that runs over your head. If you’re on high pressure or toss and turn, start with the N30i/P30i; otherwise the P10 is the budget pick.
