Check the licence
Health Canada’s licence listing includes a Yuwell oxygen concentrator (licence 111620, first licensed 8 August 2024). Search the listing for any other model before you buy; see Health Canada licensing.
Power
Canada uses 120 V, 60 Hz with Type A and B sockets (Electrical Safety First). A concentrator bought abroad for 230 V won’t run safely here without the correct rating. Check the label.
Funded oxygen
If you meet your province’s criteria, the province usually pays a vendor to supply and maintain the concentrator. See Ontario ADP home oxygen, BC Home Oxygen Program and Alberta AADL.
